ENID MILLER PONN
Enid Miller Ponn is a phi beta kappa graduate of U.N.C., Chapel Hill.
She received her Masters Degree from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced
International Studies and her law degree from the University of Miami, School of
Law in 1984, cum laud. Since 1984, she has specialized in the areas of family
law, collaborative family law, pre-nuptials and post-nuptial agreements, family
law mediation, wills and trusts, and probate.
Ms. Ponn received her certification by the Florida Supreme Court as a family
law mediator in 1993, and since then has experienced a very high degree of
success in settling cases within her mediation practice. She has been a
guest lecturer on this topic to the mental health professionals of Broward
County. She is bilingual and, therefore, can mediate in either
English or Spanish.
Ms. Ponn has received formal training as a collaborative family lawyer and
has lectured on the topic of collaborative law in seminars for the mental health
community and well as other professional groups. She is a founding member, and
on the board of directors of the Collaborative Family Lawyers of South Florida
and a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Ms. Ponn’s commitment to a non-adversarial approach enables the parties to
arrive at a fair and equitable settlement while at the same time, avoiding the
emotional fallout and trauma involved in divorce trials. The objective is
to walk away from the process with considerably less expense, animosity and
stress for all family members.
Ms. Ponn also prepares wills and trusts, and in the event a loved one or
someone you know passes away, she can handle the probate administration of the
estate. She has probated hundreds of estates in a timely and efficient manner,
not allowing estates to linger on months or years beyond when they should be
closed.
DENNIS PONN
Dennis Ponn, who is trained in the complexities of real estate law, is one of
the most respected real estate attorneys in the community. He is a member
of the Florida and Washington, D.C. Bars and is a graduate of Cornell University
(1977) and the University of Miami, School of Law (1984). Dennis is a past
president of the Coral Gables Bar Association and chaired the realtor/attorney
committee for the City of Coral Gables’ prominent real estate association. He has served as general counsel for one of the largest real estate companies in
Florida.
With almost 25 years of real estate experience, Dennis is uniquely qualified
